Gubernatorial candidate join Latino leaders
in San Diego Saturday for political forum
about the current immigration debate
SAN DIEGO - Peter Miguel Camejo - the Green Party’s 2006 gubernatorial candidate and independent 2004 vice-presidential candidate - will join with Latino leaders and others here Saturday in a Public Forum on the immigration debate and massive rallies planned later this month and May 1 throughout the state, nation and the world.
At 4 p.m. Saturday, at the Ocean Beach Woman’s Club, Mr. Camejo will be joined by Nativo Lopez, president of the Mexican American Political Association; Pablo Paredes, an Iraq War Resistor and US Senate candidate Todd Chretien and others for the Political Forum.
Each will provide commentary, and provide details of what is planned in California cities for the next 30 days to protest the criminalization of immigrants.
